Wouldn't It Be Nice To Be Nausea Free?

For people who suffer from conditions that cause them to be nauseous or vomit, CBD is here to help. Cancer treatment has been known to cause these symptoms, for example. People who suffer from severe anxiety sometimes have problems with nausea and vomiting as well. Whatever the ailment may be, CBD can help with your upset stomach.

Recent Research found that Cannabidiol (CBD) works with receptors that release serotonin. When CBD is given in small doses, studies show that CBD does relieve nausea and vomiting.

According to a study “Regulation of nausea and vomiting by cannabinoids” undeniable evidence shows that by manipulating the endocannabinoid system can regulate nausea and vomiting in humans and other animals.

Another study “Cannabidiol, a non-psychotropic component of cannabis, attenuates vomiting and nausea-like behaviour via indirect agonism of 5-HT(1A) somatodendritic autoreceptors in the dorsal raphe nucleus” concluded that CBD produced its antiemetic/anti-nausea effects by indirect activation of the somatodendritic 5-HT(1A) autoreceptors in the DRN. More human research is still needed and is again coming to provide proof of the benefits CBD has on nausea and vomiting. But what we have thus far is far more than promising.

People that suffer from chronic nausea, no matter what the cause, may have another route to go to thwart their debilitating symptoms: CBD.
