The 2018 Farm Bill needs to be signed into legislation as soon as possible for hemp and CBD products to start hitting the shelves. This would allow people to enjoy the benefits of hemp CBD. Without the bill in effect, hemp is still considered illegal in some states. Once Hemp is removed from the Schedule I drug list people can start using it to treat their condition.
The Hemp Farming Act reclassifies and redefines hemp. The new definition makes a distinction between cannabis and hemp; hemp contains less than .03% THC content. The result, hemp is removed from the Controlled Substance Act Schedule 1 Drug List. So now research can be conducted to prove the benefits of hemp CBD.
Some of the benefits of hemp CBD is helping to reduce chronic pain and inflammation associated with arthritis and fibromyalgia. Also, relief from sore muscles from working out or a hard day’s work. Other benefits include reducing stress and anxiety.
Finally, the passing of the Hemp Farming Act as part of the 2018 Farm bill, will allow people to try and judge for themselves if CBD is beneficial for them without worrying about being arrested and charged as a criminal.
